Love your opening paragraph. . .especially that last question. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThis was absolutely hysterical! The beginning was great. I especially loved the part when you asked the question "Would I want to meet Jesus dressed like this?" That was great. I think you really captured the tone of a preacher. I also loved how you ended it with another question "What would Jesus do?"

ReplyDeleteExtremely MODEST<--I'm not 100% sure those go together. Anyway, I really loved this one. The preacher doesn't seem too stingy and stuff actually, which I kinda like. In the same time there are obvious rules set. And as said by everyone in the class, I like how it opened and how you used the "would you want to be dressed this way in front of Jesus" lines.
ReplyDeleteThis was hilarious! You did a great job establishing a disaplined, preacher-like tone. I loved how you asked retorichal questions like " what would Jesus do?" adding a humorous effect. I like how you emphasized on sophistication and modesty just as a preacher may do. You established your tone very early on with your intro paragraph and then through out the actual dress code. GOOD JOB!
