But then as a full grown and beautiful horse he is traded to possibly a larger horse breeder. The scene is shown as the horse trailer is pulling him away from his original owner and buddy which really would strike a chord with most of the audience because no one wants to see these two separated because they have been together for so long.
And then the original owner sees an Ad in the newspaper for the Budweiser Clydesdale who is coming to Chicago. So of course he has to go and see him. The owner lines up on the edge of the street behind the gates and sees his horse dressed up beautifully in his new life. But the horse sees him and looks back in acknowledgment. We get the feeling that he wants so bad to run over to him but he is bond to all the other horses and is unable.
The guy returns to his truck sad that he did not get a chance to get close to his old buddy. Then all of a sudden as he looks in his review mirror the horse galloping towards him because neither of them can leave without saying goodbye.
This commercial is very very sweet and shows that strong bonds are hard to break no matter how far or how long they are apart.
The song in this commercials plays a crucial role to appealing the audiences emotions as most commercials do, the song is Landslide by Fleet-wood Mac and really just makes the commercial so special and touching.
But of course at the end of the day it is a Budweiser commercial and we see the truck when the owner is playing with his horse outside and then he has an open Budweiser bottle next to him as he reads about his Horse coming to Chicago, and the horse itself is a Budweiser Horse.
